The majority of our commercial candies date back to the 1950s or earlier and are commonly now made by multiple companies who do not follow the original recipes or manufacturing processes. These cheaper alternatives (usually found in grocery stores and gas stations) do not have the taste and consistency of the original product. Our candies are brought in from the original manufacturer when possible and still taste the way they did your grandparents fell in love with them.
